The HWA RANG Tae Kwon Do schools are a collection of Tae Kwon Do schools founded by Grand Master Boo Young Shin. We are practicing traditional Tae Kwon Do . We are following the Tae Kwon Do style which is been taught by Grandmaster Boo Young Shin . Our Tae Kwon Do is based on the Tae Kwon Do style which has been taught by the MOO DOO KWAN School in Korea. Master Shin has been a member and teacher in that school. Being in that tradition, Grand Master Shin has added his own elements and experiences to improve the once learned techniques. We are now calling this style HWARANG Tae Kwon Do.
The term HWA RANG refers to a organisation which has been existed in the Middle Ages in Korea. The members of the HWA RANG Organisation have been in a continous, never ending process of optimisation and improvement.
Following that course, the HWA RANG Taekwondo schools define semselves as instiutes for traditional Tae Kwon Do.
The main HWA RANG Tae Kwon Do school is based in Hamburg, Germany.
