The Tae Kwon Do exercises shall promote a complete development of humans beeings. For a comprehensive development appropriate training methods are necessary. The traditional Tae Kwon Do uses six different training methods, which affect different aspects of the physical and mental development.
This exercise consists of taking a finished end position e.g. apkubi sogi arae makki. This finished position is then kept for some time. This exercise is implemented with full strength. A goal of the exercise is it to learn and develop the feeling for the Tae Kwon Do techniques. This exercise accelerates the learning of the Tae Kwon Do techniques substantially.
The techniques are implemented slowly without strength. A goal of the exercise is the improvement of the course of motion. The feeling for the movement is improved. With hand techniques the points are held together by thumbs, showing and middle finger. The hand remains loose.
The techniques are implemented from beginning to end with full strength. The exercise develops the strength and time feeling. At the time of the execution the practioneer shall be ready for action/reaction at any time.
Exercise with fast and loose movement.
The exercises are implemented with full speed. A goal of the exercise is the speed development. At the end of the movement - with the contact - full force concentration. This exercise is the completed combat movement.
It concerns a meditative exercise form. The different Tae Kwon Do techniques is to be practiced in the spirit and thought about it. If possible the own body and techniques in the mental eye are to appear as object.
